Ms. Paulson brings extensive experience in the marketing and distribution of investment management programs. Ms. Paulson was the Chief Marketing Officer of CR Capital Group, a financial services firm that partners with business sponsors to raise capital through the development of distribution platforms that partner closely with wealth management firms across a wide array of business models and sizes. In this role, she was responsible for shaping CR Capital Group’s brand and marketing strategy including digital, research and insights functions at the firm.
Previously, Ms. Paulson was Assistant Vice President and Director of Marketing Communications at MetLife for 11 years where she led the creative and digital marketing teams for the U.S. retirement savings business. During her tenure, Ms. Paulson helped grow the company’s sales of retirement savings products from $6 billion to $28 billion. She was also the Director of Marketing Communications at Altegris where she led the marketing team for the private wealth management channel.
Ms. Paulson received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Collins is a litigation lawyer and partner at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth where he provides counsel to corporate clients navigating complex policy and regulatory issues with the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Department of Justice.
Prior to joining Stradling, Mr. Collins was a lawyer at Sidley. He began his legal career in the United States Navy, Judge Advocate General’s Corps where he advised senior military leaders in the Asia-Pacific region on the procurement of weapons systems and provided guidance on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and False Claims Act. He served with the United States Seventh Fleet in the Western Pacific and in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
In Afghanistan, he partnered with the United States Department of State and North Atlantic Treaty Organization to mentor Afghan prosecutors and develop Afghanistan’s criminal justice infrastructure.
Mr. Collins received his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Rice University.
Mr. Shah is a securities attorney with expertise in financial transactions and regulations. He served as a senior regulator at the Securities and Exchange Commission as Special Counsel to Commissioner Troy Paredes and to the Director of the Division of Investment Management.
At the SEC, Mr. Shah advised on a range of enforcement, accounting, examination, and policymaking activities and was involved in writing new rules regulating investment advisors to implement the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act. He also drafted the SEC’s initial framework for the regulation of robo-advisors. Immediately before joining the Belay team, Mr. Shah was the Chief Compliance Officer and Regulatory Counsel at Hines. Mr. Shah has worked as an in-house counsel at Citigroup advising on the development and distribution of alternative investments and strategic acquisitions. He began his career in the corporate department at the New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell where his practice focused on capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, and investment management.
Mr. Shah has a law degree from Harvard, a Master’s degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in biology and political science from Rice University.
Mr. Dooley is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Belay International Corporation, a financial technology platform that provides operational and strategic guidance to its partner companies through its Advisory Board and management team.
During his career, Mr. Dooley has led international transformation initiatives for several leading publicly traded companies in the global financial services industry.
Notably, he was formerly Vice President and Head of Wealth Management at MetLife Europe, Managing Director and Country Manager of The Hartford UK, and Managing Director and Partner at Crossroads Capital Group, which formed joint ventures with many of the leading alternative investment management firms in the US. He began his career in the fixed-income trading division of Salomon Smith Barney and later joined the firm’s Private Client Group as an Investment Advisor.
Mr. Dooley received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he graduated from the highly regarded Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He later went on to earn an MBA from IMD University in Switzerland.

Mr. Quicksilver has broad, senior executive level experience at some of the largest media and cable corporations, as well as with early-to-mid stage technology companies.
Mr. Quicksilver was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Charter Communications. At Charter, he oversaw several of its divisions, including Media Sales, Human Resources, and Government Relations. Before Charter, Mr. Quicksilver served as President of Network Distribution of FOX Broadcasting Company. While at FOX, Mr. Quicksilver oversaw the business relationship between the Network and its Affiliate Television Station Group. In addition, Mr. Quicksilver ran the Washington D.C. lobbying office for News Corporation for one year. Mr. Quicksilver began his career as a corporate attorney.
Mr. Quicksilver helped launch Videology, a tech startup in the digital media space, and served in various executive roles there, including Head of Business Development and Chief Content Officer. As the owner of REQ Consulting, LLC, an advisory firm, Mr. Quicksilver consults with early-to-mid stage technology companies, both domestic and international, on sales, business development, and marketing strategies.
Mr. Quicksilver received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Dartmouth College.
Mr. Feller is a Principal of RDF Advisors LLC which provides investment advisory services to family offices, and serves as the General Partner for a series of private funds.
Previously, Mr. Feller spent over 20 years working in senior roles with leading asset management and alternative investment firms such as Crescent Capital Group and Hartford Funds. Mr. Feller currently serves as a Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee of the Nicholas Endowment.
Mr. Feller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an active supporter of environmental causes and improving public education.
Mr. Galleberg most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of EmployBridge, the nation’s largest light industrial staffing company, where he was responsible for a $3 billion P&L. Previously, Mr. Galleberg served in senior operating roles in a diverse series of industries—technology/telecom, human capital, professional services, financial services. He has strong M&A experience, including Infonet Services Corporation’s sale to British Telecom and US Airways’ acquisition of American Airlines. Mr. Galleberg spent the first 14 years of his career at Latham & Watkins and was an equity partner working with clients primarily in the tech, media, and telecom space.
Mr. Galleberg graduated from Harvard Law School after receiving his A.B. from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Dueser brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in capital markets and as an M&A banker. He currently advises successful entrepreneurs from his personal network in several countries and industries on a variety of investment banking disciplines – from capital raises in W-Europe in biotech and e-mobility to IPOs and M&A actions in Emerging Markets in financial services, life sciences, and engineering.
Mr. Dueser began his career at JP Morgan as an Analyst in New York, London, and Frankfurt focusing on infrastructure transactions in Europe. He later joined Credit Suisse as Managing Director of Corporate Finance in Zurich where he specialized in cross-border transactions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He devised and scaled a cross-divisional global CF team which became the benchmark for wealth managers seeking to win entrepreneurial clients. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at BOGD Bank of Mongolia, the first domestic bank to IPO.
Mr. Dueser, a German citizen working out of Switzerland, earned his PhD with research on the internationalization of Japanese Banking at the London School of Economics, his MBA in finance and accounting at the University of St. Gallen, and a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Hamburg.
Mr. Stephens is the Founder and a Non-Executive Director of Tortilla Mexican Grill (LSE: MEX), the second largest fast-casual Mexican chain outside the United States.
He is also an Advisory Partner at TriSpan, a £150M hospitality-only private equity fund, where he sits on the board of Thunderbird Fried Chicken, a TriSpan portfolio company. He’s also a Non-Executive Director for Mamma Roma, a Belgian-based pizza business. He was previously founder/CEO of REVL, the UK’s largest events marketplace; Chairman of Red’s True Barbecue, the largest BBQ chain in the UK; and interim Director of eCommerce for Arcadia Group.
Brandon is a native Californian and began his career in Silicon Valley where he worked in a range of senior positions at several high-profile technology startups. He has also served as a consultant at Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Brandon has an MBA from London Business School and is a graduate of Princeton University.
With 30 years of leadership and board experience across a variety of industries including retail, technology, and healthcare, Mr. Schwartz is a seasoned expert in mergers and acquisitions as well as executive value creation.
Mr. Schwartz was previously Chairman of HDI Company, a publicly traded plastics recycling firm, and Chairman, CEO, and CFO of Hypertension Diagnostics, Inc, a publicly traded medical device company. He also served as a Board Member of Bartell Drugs, a pharmacy retailer, where he led the design and implementation of the 130-year-old company’s exit strategy that resulted in a sale to Rite Aid Corporation. Prior to that role, Mr. Schwartz served as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of DDD Group, plc a publicly traded digital media software company. As a board member of Specialty Commodities, an organic food products company, he assisted in the sale of the company to The Archer Daniel Midlands Company. He is the co-founder, former CFO, and Board Member of Bodega Latina Corporation, a grocery retailer focused on the Latino market, where he negotiated the sale of the company. As a former investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and The First Boston Corporation, he has been involved with 30 closed merger and acquisition transactions exceeding $20 billion and 12 financings exceeding $5 billion.
Mr. Schwartz received an MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College.
Mr. Harden brings decades of experience in wealth management as former head of Asia for BNY Mellon investment and wealth management. Prior to that he ran Asia Investment management for ING, having left from being Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Trust, the United Kingdom’s largest investment Trust and listed in the FTSE 100.
Before joining Alliance Trust, Mr. Harden was head of Asia Pacific at Citigroup Asset Management and Global Head of Investment Services at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore.
Mr. Meserve has over 35 years of experience in the private wealth management industry. He was instrumental in launching the distribution organizations for both MetLife Investors and Fidelity Investments where oversaw the growth of these companies to top five positions within their respective markets achieving annual investment product sales of $25 billion across a national network of 650 broker-dealers.
Mr. Meserve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kansas State College and is a graduate of the Financial Services College at the Wharton School of Business.
Mr. Beard is the Chief Growth Officer and Founding Partner of Atria Wealth Solutions where he is responsible for the firm’s overall growth and acquisition strategy. He sold the firm to Lee Equity Partners in 2017.
Prior to co-founding Atria, he led strategic acquisitions for AIG Advisor Group, where he led the firm’s independent broker-dealer acquisition platform and developed its strategic integration framework. Previous to AIG, Mr. Beard was Regional Director of Rehmann and co-founded Innovative Advanced Resources, an advisory firm serving independent financial advisors and alternative asset managers.
He serves as Northeast Ohio Corporate Chair for the Arthritis Foundation, Secretary for the FSI Marketing Council and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Bank Insurance & Securities Association. Kevin earned a BA in finance from Kent State University.
Mr. Shotton is the Founder, Chair and CEO of White Diamond Risk Advisory, a bespoke company providing risk advisory services to boards of directors and executive management across a wide spectrum of asset classes in the financial services sector. He is committed to the corporate governance, capital allocation and management incentive principles that foster business decision-making, growth, and the creation of shareholder value.
Previously, Mr. Shotton was Global Head of the Risk and Analytics at CRISIL Global Research. Prior to CRISIL, Mr. Shotton was Deputy Head of Group Risk Control and Methodology at UBS. Earlier in his career, he was a Fellow at CERN, Experimental Physics Division, where he designed a computer program to calculate 3-dimensional equations of high-energy particle collisions. As a CERN scientist, he searched for experimental evidence of quark-gluon plasma, a new state of matter.
Mr. Shotton attended Oxford University where he earned his Doctorate in Philosophy in High Energy Physics, and his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences, Physics with honors.
Mr. Hines currently serves as President & CEO of The Hines Group, LLC, a data-driven consulting firm founded in 2007 that specializes in the financial services. He also serves on the boards of directors of Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE: HMN), the country’s largest financial services firm focused on America’s educators and school employees, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.
Previously, Mr. Hines served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Irwin Mortgage Corporation; Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at Lincoln Financial Group and Swiss Re, and Vice President of Marketing & Communications at American States Financial Corporation.
Mr. Hines received his B.A. in Journalism from Western Kentucky University, and his M.B.A. with high honors from the University of Minnesota. He has also received public company board training from Harvard Business School’s Executive Management Program and his Certified Fundraising Management qualification (CFRM) from the Indiana University School of Philanthropy.
Mr. Sonnen is Founder and CEO of PFI Advisors which provides consulting services to Registered Investment Advisors. Before PFI Advisors, Mr. Sonnen was Chief Operating Officer of Luminous Capital, a Los Angeles based RIA where he orchestrated the company’s sale to First Republic Bank. He subsequently joined Focus Financial, the nation’s largest publicly traded RIA aggregation platform, as Vice President of Organic Growth Initiatives.
Mr. Sonnen received his bachelor’s in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Rika Nakazawa is a senior leader, investor, best-selling author, and frequent public speaker on technology-powered business transformation and next-generation computing. She is a senior executive at NTT as Group Vice President Industry X.0 where she is building the 5G and IoT consulting practice, focusing on NTT’s most strategic and innovative clients. In her role she is activating strategic, high-impact, multi-horizon joint innovations with NTT’s customers and partners that accelerate business and sustainability impact for industrial sector enterprises globally.
Rika has worked in global roles over two decades in senior executive roles in strategy, design thinking, business development, consulting, and marketing with Fortune 500 companies – Accenture, NVIDIA, Capgemini Sony, American Express – and Silicon Valley startups focused on the next generation of computing. She is a Digital Transformation and Diversity veteran and has served on multiple start-up boards in Venture Investment, Compute, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence ecosystems.
Rika grew up in Japan and came to the US to attend Princeton and UCLA. Throughout her career, Rika has been an avid advocate for ESG with a special focus on advancing women’s leadership in governance, technology, and business across industry verticals and global dimensions.
Mr. Peterson is an experienced financial partner with a long history of leadership and execution in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting. He currently serves as an advisor on advisory cloud, working with businesses in need of his expertise in executive decision-making.
Mr. Peterson retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers after a 39-year career including leading global engagements for several of the largest private equity client teams in transactions, funds and portfolio companies. He also served as the leader of PwC’s Sports Advisory practice. He had been the PwC private equity leader and served on the Americas and Global leadership teams. Mr. Peterson has worked with private equity firms and corporations on public and private, domestic and cross-border deals ranging in size from $5M to more than $27B. His experience focuses on the areas of mergers and acquisitions including strategic assessments, business and financial due diligence, transaction structuring, and pre– and post–merger integration.
Mr. Peterson earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and holds his B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois.
The former Secretary of the Army, Louis Caldera, is a business consultant, strategic adviser, and public company director. He currently serves as a director of Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA) and DallasNews Corp. (NASDAQ: DALN) and previously served on the boards of Southwest Airlines Co. and Career Education Corp.
Caldera served as Secretary of the Army during the Clinton Administration and as an assistant to the president and director of the White House Military Office during the Obama Administration. Caldera began his career as an Army officer, corporate lawyer, and California legislator. He also served in higher education leadership roles including as a vice chancellor of The California State University and as president of The University of New Mexico.
Caldera holds a B.S. from the United State Military Academy, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Anil Arora brings 20 years of executive leadership experience within financial technology companies focused on the wealth and personal finance sectors. He also brings significant direct investing and corporate governance experience.
Mr. Arora served as Chief Executive Officer of Yodlee, a data aggregation and analytics platform that was acquired by Envestnet in 2015. Mr. Arora then served as the Chief Executive Officer of Envestnet | Yodlee and as a member of the Board of Directors of Envestnet. Mr. Arora is currently a Senior Partner at the TIFIN Group, a private equity firm with a focus on building first-in-category financial technology companies to shape the future of investor experiences. He serves as an Executive Co-Chairman of Positivly, a TIFIN Group company that has engineered an innovative financial personality test. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President at Gateway, a pioneering computer hardware company, and as the Vice President of Marketing and Strategy of North America of the Pillsbury Company. Mr. Arora currently serves as an independent director on the Board of Conagra Brands (NYSE: CAG).
Mr. Arora received an MBA from the University of Michigan and his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and management from Rockford College.
Rebecca Macieira-Kaufmann brings nearly 30 years of executive leadership within the financial services industry. She is a seasoned executive with expertise in digital technology implementation, wealth management and scaling of new businesses.
Ms. Macieira-Kaufmann is a founding member of RMK Group, a company which provides strategic consulting to high-growth start-ups in the financial services industry. At RMK Group, she advises Chief Executive Officers on business strategy, growth plans, and governance. Ms. Macieira- Kaufmann served as the Head of the International Personal Bank U.S. at Citigroup where she owned a multibillion-dollar P&L business serving the offshore wealth needs of multinational clients. At Citigroup, she also served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Banamex U.S. and President of California and Nevada. Prior to Citigroup, she served as Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo and as a Vice President at Providian Bancorp.
Ms. Macieira-Kaufmann also serves on the board of directors at Revolut Holdings U.S., a financial technology company based in the U.K., and is a Growth Advisory Council Member of Duco, a software company based in the U.K. serving financial services firms. Ms. Macieira-Kaufmann received an MBA from Stanford University and her Bachelor’s degree in Semiotics from Brown University.
Ms. Shoback brings extensive experience in executive leadership of wealth management companies and direct investments experience, and she has served on the board of directors of several leading financial services companies.
Ms. Shoback co-founded and currently serves as Managing Director of 1414 Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage companies in the digital identity sector. Previously, Ms. Shoback served as Chief Executive Officer of the Emerging Businesses and Client Experience at Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Prior to Boston Private, Ms. Shoback served as Senior Vice President and Head of Retail and Individual Marketing at Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America, or TIAA. She also served as Senior Vice President of High Net Worth and Mass Affluent Marketing at Fidelity Investments. In addition, Ms. Shoback has served as a member of both the Board of Directors and the Audit & Compensation Committee of CUNA Mutual Group.
Ms. Shoback received an MBA from Harvard Business School and her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Wellesley College.
Mr. Maillian brings 40 years of experience in investment banking and deal execution in the financial services industry.
Since 1993, Mr. Maillian has served as the Chairman and CEO of WhiteStone Global Partners LLC, a Certified Minority-Owned and Controlled Business Enterprise. WhiteStone has served as a financial advisor to certain United States government agencies, providing services on more than $50 billion of advisory transactions, asset sales, and securitizations. Mr. Maillian also served as Principal at Rideau Lyons & Co., a boutique investment banking firm. He was also a Co-Founding Partner, Managing Partner and served as Chairman of the Investment Committee of Olympius Capital, L.P., a Minority-Owned Hedge Fund of Funds.
Mr. Maillian earned his MBA at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Accounting and Finance, and he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA.
Ms. Mora has more than 30 years of leadership experience in financial operations and corporate governance.
Ms. Mora served as Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President for Finance and Administration, and Treasurer at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. Ms. Mora served as Chief Financial Officer of Harvard University, where she served on the Harvard Management Endowment Board which managed approximately $35 billion in assets at the time. She also served as the Associate Vice President of Research and Administration of Harvard University. In addition, Ms. Mora serves as a Board Director and Audit Committee member and Compensation Committee chair at MKS Instruments, Inc. (NASDAQ: MKSI). Ms. Mora has served as an Advisory Board member at Cambridge Trust Company and as Chair of the Board of Directors of GCP Applied Technologies.
Ms. Mora is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and received an MBA from Simmons University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Scaturro has extensive senior executive leadership experience at leading global financial institutions, with a focus on wealth management and private banking.
Mr. Scaturro was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for the Global Private Client business. At Goldman Sachs, he was a member of the Business Practices Committee and served on the Investment Management Division Operating Committee. Before Goldman Sachs, Mr. Scaturro served as the Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Trust, where he added significant depth to the management team, increased the size of the sales force and introduced an open architecture capability. While at U.S. Trust, Mr. Scaturro was a member of the Executive Committee of Charles Schwab, which owned U.S. Trust. Before U.S. Trust, Mr. Scaturro served as Chief Executive Officer of the Citi Private Bank. In addition, he has served as member of the Board of Advisors of Electus Global Education Company, a developer and manufacturer of youth financial literacy, entrepreneurship and career education technology. Mr. Scaturro has also served as a Director and Vice Chairman of Orthobond Corporation, a biotechnology company focused on developing antimicrobial surface technology. Since 2010, Mr. Scaturro has served as a private investor with PKS LLC, a private investment firm that he founded.
Mr. Scaturro received his Master’s degree in Engineering and his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Columbia University.
